This thing has been here for months. If I had the cash I would be all over it? This could look just like Rizzags.

It's a nice original bus for sure. Not sure about lowering it though maybe the price a bit but that's where I would stop.

I think plenty of us are thinking this....

At one time I passed on a mint 67 21 window like that. Same color, one
owner, unbelievable. I knew if I bought it I would want to lower it and
put a big motor in it so I passed it on to a friend.
Today, I wouldn`t think twice about it. Straight axle kit, drop spindles, disc brakes. Detailed Fuchs, 2276...

only for locals (sac area) there is a 67 kombi I know of almost as nice as this, It was in an accident in the 80's, and the nose was repaired correctly, but remains in primer. It is a 1 family owner (grandparents to grandson) awesome condition, 80k og miles, perfect original front seats, all og, just missing the middles seat (it is in the puchaco custom bus) The kid wants 3500 firm, no bullshit, if you are in the area and would like to see it let me know, but bring 3500 cash with you. Or you could buy my sundial and I will buy this bus. The kid is not in the vw scene, and the bus has only been used once or twice a month to keep it in good condition. if no one is interested lucky me, I will buy it as soon as I save up

I think that is the problem. Nobody seems to have very much money at the moment.

The bus looks good, the price is reasonable and the guy who owns it is an honest, decent person.

But, however,
It is likely because Jackass Bush and Punkass Cheney have drained the economy, drained everyone's tax dollars to finance all of their ugly little wars, so that they can just walk in and simply rob the chosen countries of thier natural resources, and sell them back to the American taxpayer. Not to mention, pissing off the rest of the globe as well.

... and of course Gay Dufus had nothing to do with that, like tripling the car tax and creating more "government" jobs and services for those not contributing to the pot

Be fair you two!! This economy started to tank before Bush was elected and as far as CA goes, The legislature had to vote on all of the props and legislation as well.
They ALL suck.

mark was kind enough to let me drive that bus from san francisco down to BYOB at red barn in the spring. the bus drove nicely, handled nicely, had plenty of power on hills (there were 6 or 7 of us that went to salinas for mexican, had to downshif into 3rd on the big hills) and smelled like what it is-a nice original bus. as mark mentions in his ad, it has lots of cool features like wood slats on the interior panel cards. i think it had a full headliner card as well. euro headlights and tail lights and everything else that makes a european bus what it is.

the only thing i can remember that it needed was maybe a throwout bearing. it whirred a bit with the clutch pressed if i remember right.
