| It is posible, but you would have to install Karman Ghia pan halves because Ghia pan halves are about 2 inches wider than bug ones. It's about $300 for a new set of ghia pan halves, and it may take a few days of work to install them. It is posible, but a lot of work. |

| Not to mention you have to save your seat rails and align them properly. Repop seat rails are EXPENSIVE. |

| No. Even less so. The only pan that's interchangeable (as far as I know) is a Type 181 "Thing" pan. |

Possible I am sure... but the frame head 'T' and the rear pan braces are also wider... so it would take more mods that just using Ghia replacement pans...
If it were that easy people would be doing it all the time... it's not.
Find a good used 69 and later GHIA pan or "t-bone" to weld new pans in if that is what your after. They are not that hard to find. |
