| New to the forum and to ghia's for that fact. I have a 74 vert with the glass window and was wondering if a earlier year ghia top would fit my car. so I turn to the experts..... thanks for any help |

| Sorry, no. Engineering is completely different. Even changing the entire assembly top, frame and all won't work since the body panels that hold the frame are also different. You're stuck with the later top. |

KGP&R does have available a late (1969.5 - 1974) Ghia top
with a plastic rear window sewn in, if that's what you have in mind,
which eliminates the use of the glass rear window. |
