here the ass end of the bus... some SOB installed the wrong lights.... theres filler on the coners... but it is from dent.. metal looks solid from the back.
OK I'll put the good metal pics in now.... Best metal on the bus is in the engine compartment.. NO RUST... even in the batery tray...
ok here the right side... Rockers are ok... the cut wheel wells... not really the look I am going for...
cant get in for the drivers side pics.. but its in the same shape...
Heres a back interior shot... looks og??? Ritchie from oahu score me a rear seat top bottom and base... He officially kicks ass....

YEAH!!! its a project... but hey.. Its the only DOUBLE on the Island.. and one of like 4-5 in the state.. shit there only like 3 or 4 splitty's busses and two singles drivein on the island... Im gonna start on the lil stuff till I get the $$ saved up to order all the metal I need. gonna lower it narow beam and so on.. OG color is dove blue... so its that or black and tan... ANY one with ideas!!!! hit me up... for now.. word of enchoragement are deffinately needed........[/img] |

Now, I have to say, I'll go far and wide to save a VW, but the effort for me to go all the way to Hawaii to recover another one of your heaps off the side of the road when the points close and you abandon it is beyond even me.
You should have stayed with Geo Trackers. At least there's more of them around.

| Looks like a good starter truck. We'll just have to see who gets their doublecab finished first. HUH :wink: Should be fun to restore chillkoot . Did doublecabs have the drink tray in the rear like the deluxe busses or was that and the grab bar added later? |
