| Are CB street eliminators good heads? They have 42x37.5 valves. What would be a good price. What if there are crack between the valve guides? Is that common and still safe? |

| I got lucky and found a set at a show for $400. but they were brand new, never been used. I would walk away from ANY VW head that is cracked. Good luck, Todd |

| Eliminators are good , from what I heard & red. I wouldnt buy cracked heads, ,,wouldnt want to risk it. |

How old are they? Early on CB had some castings come throught that were soft and will let the seats get pounded into the heads (dont ask how I know :? )
With the flow that they are getting out of the 044's, why not stick with something that wouldnt be a gamble? |
