Contacted a guy last week who has papers with a type 11 C on in .
Is it an early cabrio ?
He claims that is from a '52 Beetle .
Chassis number I dunno .
But in front of the chassis number there are the letters KD ..
Can't be a KDF .. LOL
Anyone who knwos something abt the Type 11 C and the letters KD ?

could it mean CKD (completely Knocked Down) or what`s known as cars built OUTSIDE of Germany?
At that time (early 1950`s) the only countries doing that were South Africa and Ireland.....I`m not sure if the chassis were stamped so on these cars?
Who has one and knows what was stamped on titles etc.? |

Got the papers today ..
Car doesnt exist anymore im afraid .
Car was imported to Holland in '66
Chassis number : KD 0140 37
No typo :)
Pre '45 according to the chassisnumber lists ?
If thats true its a bummer that the car isnt there anymore .. |
