| I just got a brand new set of mahle 90.5's complete with rings, do i still have to gap the rings before i install the p's. The rings came on the pistons allready. |

| Speaking as someone with experience in doing things wrong, you don't want to leave anything that you aren't 100% positive it is correct. Would you like to be tearing your engine apart again because your rings were binding? It is worth it to double check everything you can - trust me. |

| well in that case how do you gap rings. how do i get them off the p's without snappin them? |
