| i'm hopping to get my motor this weekend. 1915 041 heads sump c/w crank and lightened crank. wondering size of exhuast 1 5/8 or 1 1/2. also carbs i'm thinking of going with the kads, but i want the dels or webs what should i get. moneys tight thats why i was thinking kads. thanks for the help. (not my first vw just need some info to keep this motor runnig good hopes to put close to 75000 miles on it before a new motor. i just want reliabilty) |

you might be in luck
I have a 1914 that I might be parting out.
Engine froze up on me and I am still working it out.
I have a set of dual webber 44idfs with two sets of Jets,
along with a 1 5/8s merged ceramic coated header with a phatboy exhuast.
If I cant get it to you I would recommend it. If your heads are going to be stock you could get a smaller exhaust.
I think kads are nice but i like my idfs after they were tuned correctly. |
