I have an oil cooler tester that has two schrader valves. Does anyone know how much psi I should put in it to test it? Thanks.

I have always heard that 75 - 80 PSI was good because most motors won't exceed that in oil pressure. Get it up to pressure and put it in a bucket of water and look for bubbles. No bubbles and you should be good to go.

Never had any problems doing it that way.

We ck ours at 100 lbs for the extra safty. I have never increased it to see just what it took to blow a new one. Vic.
