MANY thanks again to Chuck and Tom for all the effort putting on another great Litchfield show. great weather, great food the night before, great swap, nice show.
well worth my driving expenses once again.
nice to "meet" fellow sambanistas, even though i knew many of them from years past. |

Litchfield is one of the best shows in the North East.
It was nice to put a face to many of the people on The Samba. |

Litchfield was everything I had heard it was... definately lived up to the hype. I didn't really meet many people though. Didn't even know it was Glenn judging my car until later...
It was a good way to spend father's day... got my dad and myself out of the family cookout too  |

Too bad... i would of spent some time and gave you some advice.
That actually was a tough class the Red 74, tan German 72 and yellow Super were in really nice shape.
1st, 2nd and 3rd were only 1 point away from each other and your car was only 2 or 3 below that.
Stock is always harder that modified, since most cars in 30 years have many parts changed. |

| Yeah, my car really isn't a "stock" car either. But, I also wasn't really there to win anything. It was the first time I have ever shown the car (or any car). Since buying it last year I haven't done all that much to it... but probably enough to affect it's class. Hopefully by next year the motor will be built and a few more things will be done so I'll feel better about putting it in another class. It was definately a fun day except the clutch started acting up on the ride home... |

| Thanks for all of the good words guys. I have attended numerous shows around the country and try to make note of things I like and things I dont like. I guess I have made good decisions when putting it all together for Litchfield and Terryville. Plus talking to a lot of fellow VW enthusiasts helps. And of course getting some real good dependable helpers like Dan and Tom makes a big difference. ChuckP |

| Chuck - Thanks again for your help regarding our show, and I'm glad to have been able to help out with yours. Litchfield was a great time for us, as I hadn't shown a vehicle at the fairground until this year. It's fun to go, but even better to join in. |

Chuck,
Thanks for the wonderful job.
Litchfield and Terryville are my two favorite general VW shows in the East.
I wish there were more split buses there, but we just need to get out the word.
A hopeful sign was that I believe there were more split buses than last year.
And a '54 barndoor deluxe ain't bad for the East.... |
