Anybody have pics or colors of early VW factory rallly cars? Looking to do my bug as a rally reproduction and would like to match a successful early VW rally car.

I've built a 63' rally bug. Bright Red paint, Black porsche 356 wheels without hub-caps, driving lights, headlight guards, Judson supercharger, Judson electronic magnito, Judson boost gauge, headers with stinger, Bosch logos on the side. I did not lower it due to lack of photographic proof of them being lowered back in the day. Yes, you'll get tons of looks as everyones seen a cal-bug. Do check out rallybugs.com a great site!!

Sounds sort of what I'm considering doing, although my idea was leaning more to a rally/baja crossbreed.
