so i got my carbs today and the assembling instructions are very vauge, the dont tell me what parts are and i cant figure out if a nut goes there or if the part im putting on is correct. does anyone know of a good online source for instructions? i searched on google to no avail. thanks for any info.
***Never mind i pretty much figured everything out i onlu have one question. the T will go fom the fuel pumpp to the filter and slit through the T in to the carbs yes? abd then the kit cam with a little hose too what does that go to? thanks*** |

| I assume the hose is the balance pipe. it runs from one carb to the other. I run the filter before the fuel pump, a line back twords the firewall from the pump, to the T, and then to each carb. If the "T" is plastic, go to the hardware store and replace it with a metal one. |

| thanks erikG, the T is metal, so the small valve things will be connected together by the small hose? ok. i must say this a good kit, and theinstructions are prettty good, the only thing is they should add a page where they label all the little hardware parts. |

| Aren't there hose fittings on your manifolds? The balance tube should connect the manifolds, not the carbs. Sorry, been so long since I had ICTs I can't remember exactly how they went in. |

Cap that nipple off...It is for a vacumm advance on a stock dist.
If you have the oo9 then you dont need to worry about it.
If you have a Faucet fuel pump [or similar] it delivers about 3-3.5 pounds of fuel so you are ok.
As for linkage It is hard to see but...
You want the arm that the cable attaches to pointing down toward the case..
since the cable pulls the linkage and forces the outer arms down. If your still lost maybe find a old HTVW mag and look for a picture...
Really it isnt hard just give yourself some time to do the install.
Did you do the pre-install carb adjustments also? |

You might want to look at how my linkage is set up. I realise my end pieces are a little different, but the idea is still the same.

Doesnt matter much.
They both will put out the same amount.
If you know what you have works, I'd run it.... |
