I just got my 1500 installed into my notch.
Dang battery was dead... darn 6 volt..so it is charging.......
I hope to fire it up on Monday-

Not 100% stock but I call it a "1500+".....
Also this will be my first go at a 010 dist with this motor.
We shall see what happens.
See not everything around here is "overboard", we like stock stuff too.. |

Humm...toss out the og interior,dump it into the weeds, add a ragtop, hydro's.....
Hell I dont know what I will do with it, it will be my daily beater for a while, as the fasty in in need of dire attention.
The car is stock and the motor.........well it looks stock enough. |

How non-stock is the engine?
I've got a daily driver 1500s with factory fitted single carb engine. It's currently stock apart from 1600 B&Ps, 009 distributor, crane electronic ignition, and an added relay to give a nice fat supply to the 6v high output coil.
As its a daily driver i keep wondering how big i can go with the stock single carb?
Anyone tried a larger capacity.

..OK it's a '64 model but built in '63.
