Im looking for a very good quality High temp paint that can be painted on to my ehaust system that will not burn off and flake in a few days...Any suggestions?

I know that their rust product works, as of yey I haven`t found anything that will last more than a month, thats if the weather is good and I don`t drive it much.Good Luck, if you use the Por product post it`s results.

I've used it on my intake manifold, heater box pipes and exhaust on my 36hp motor. It is excellent stuff that lives up to its claims, but its all in the application. The metal must be rusted, sandblasted or prepared with their Metal Ready solution or it will flake off like everything else out there. If your exhaust is new, sandblast it or soak it in the Metal Ready.

It helps if you can put the part in the oven and cure the paint before installation (otherwise the paint will be soft and can be scratched off if not careful). Running the motor will also effectively cure the paint. Be aware though, this stuff smells very bad when curing and if you do it in your oven inside make sure all the windows and door are open and the part is very clean.

My husband popped my intake manifold in the oven while I was at work to cure it for me as a surprise. He got the surprise, it had some small debris inside and it caught on fire in the oven. The senile old electric oven decided to increase the temperature without him setting it higher.

I used their titanium finish on my Phat Boy muffler, stinger, and J tubes. It looks great and doesn't flake off. At least with this company you can get different colors so your muffler doesn't look the same as everyone else's. It is also very easy to apply.
