| How do you lower the back of an irs compaired to a swing axle. I know how to do the torsion bar adjustments, but do i have to disconect the swing arm on the irs or the axle? |

hi, ive lowered my IRS on ma 69 auto, swapped to manual, undo the 4 bolts on the spring plate, take off the shocker mount, and dis-connect the drive shaft frm the radius arm, making sur the car is jacked up, undo the 4 cover bolts, and bar off the plate, if its standard hieght be careful , becox the spring plate is under tension, make out where the plate drops to, then turn an spline, should be about 1.5 inches higher, re-assenble, re-connect everythng.do 1 side at a time tho, not both, and make sure there set up evenly
gud luck |
