| I recently picked up a '70 Fasty and it's a good looking car, but '69 and earlier bumpers flow with the car so much better. Will the early blade bumpers fit a '70? Would it be a straight bolt on with early blades and brackets? |

| it is possible, im looking to do the same thing to my 70 fasty. From what i under stand is, you have to make custom mounts that mount onto the car then mount onto the older bumpers...not too sure. i have yet to do it. but i know its possible |

On my '71 I bolted early bumpers right up, no fabrication or special brackets required. The rear is a direct bolt on, the front bumper brackets must be bent out a little. You will need to use the early brackets.

| I like that. It changes the look a little. I think if the indents in the rear were reworked flat, then the bumper would flow better in the rear. The front still has the droopy ends that I really don't care for (my 65 has the same problem), but together they work nicely on your light color. All in all, it looks good. :D |

I agree.
Wow, that looks good! I've been contemplating putting early bumpers on my '72...that nose needs a bumper unless the car is dropped to the ground...maybe. Since we have early bumpers in the DDB shop I think I will have to bolt up an early bumper to my rear and see how it looks. And yes Bob, my dimples ARE filled in \:D/ |
