| I have a 58 Bus it has surface rust in whole body in and out due to a sandblasted, the prewiew owner never primered it, so now I have to dea with it., do you think it has to be sandblast it again? its just the shell, it doesnt have any glass,rubber,interior etc. can someone give an advise? | Sandblasting does not really remove a lot of metal unless the operator is an idiot. Since you have an all-over problem, I'd get it blasted again. Since it mainly surface stuff, they may be able to use a less agressive media. Oh, yeah, don't make the previous owner's mistake - paint it while it's still clean this time :lol: |

| Don't try to blast it yourself because you can warp your panels, leaving behind only nightmares. Wavy panels are no fun. I hand sand everything. |

| you could blast it yourself as long as you use a high quality media, and take it small sections at a time making sure to keep heat to a minimum. Do it late in the afternon and keep a hose nearby to keep the panels cool. make sure you have a good air compressor to blow dry all of the nooks and crannys when you are done. |

For surface rust use fine sand, it will clean it better with faster passes. Moving to slow will cause warping. Blasting it from a shallow angle also will help the warping problem. Good Luck
