| when accelerating and shifting gears, I hear somewhat of a backfire, but it's just one of my carbs. The other carb is fine. I've heard that the carb doing that is just dirty and and the jetway needs to be cleaned. Is there any way to get rid of this without having to drive and people ducking as if I were shooting at them?[/list] |

That's funny.
It sounds like your carbs may need tuning and syncing. And since this is a part of gen maint, may as well check your plugs, timing, valve adjustment.
