Would a stock tranny/clutch be okay to run a 1776 on? if not what would be a good idea to put infront of it?

It will be fine, my friends bradley gt has a 1776 with a stock tranny/clutch. Good engine by the way! We rip through the gears!

Yeah, I ran a stock trany and cluch for awile with my 1776 .It worked ok i broke my nose cone on mine and my mounts were shot so i had mine rebuilt and beefed up a little .I would just try not to drop the cutch to hard on it :D

I've blown a stock tranny with a stock 1600DP.

If you drive normally, it should last with any engine.

The stock tranny is fine, but I would not use a stock clutch w/ 1776. Since clutches are cheap, I'd replace it when putting the new engine in with a 1700lbs Kennedy clutch kit.

All you need is a super diff. i must have fraged my spider gears 3 or 4 times before i put one in. And that was with a beefed up 1600! Oh yea and a Kennedy 1700lb
