| i just bought a 34pict 3 carb online. i am planning on using it on my 1600 single port engine. someone told me today that this carb will not fit my intake? can anyone confirm this? :cry: |

| Yeah, I'm pretty sure it doesn't fit, not positive though. But I have heard that there are adapters to change the 34 PICT-3 carb, and use something like 30 PICT-2 though. So there is probably an adapter out there you can use. |

| i know theres an adapter that goes from a 28/30 pict to a 34 manifold but i dont think it goes the other way. those 34 picts are garbage. i've always had nothing but problems with them. |

| i know for a fact that it wont fit. there is an adapter out there, but you car is probably going to run like crap. Real sluggish on the bottom end. for a completly stock engine id go with a 30/31 or a 30 PICT 1. |
