Hi,
Does anyone know if the air filter elements supplied with the CB Performance "under the deck" IDF manifold kits are recleanable or disposable?
If they are recleanable what is the best method to do this?

they are kinda like K & N's, I use the K&N oil and cleaner. it's only like $10
spray them with the cleaner, let them sit for a couple minutes. use a hose without a nozzle, and wash them from the inside out. let them dry. Re-oil them with K&N oil, let them dry. touch up any spots you missed with the oil, again, let them dry. install, and your done.
K&N's actually filter better when they are dirty, so unless looks or engine breathing is a problem, I leave them dirty |
