Since i've got my Notch on the road i've noticed this metallic ring from the back somewhere. It appears to be a vibration ring. It does it in all gears accelerating or deaccelerating but if you drive normal and back off slightly it goes away.
I've checked all the tinware and all seems to be ok. I thought it might be clutch lever assy resonating through the bellhousing as thats the sought of ring it is. It's more metallic than tinny. Does it while revving from idle.
Its driving me nuts. Any suggestions until I can have a good look on the weekend.

Hope someone can answer this. I have the same problem, except I'd call it more of a rattle at low RPMs.
It sounds like either loose engine tin, or the apron on the muffler. Someone told me it was an exhaust leak. I can't confirm either. It's driving me nuts.
I'll pull the motor next weekend and see if the rattle stays w/ the motor. |

Hey I have the same problem too.. I don't know what it is. I pulled to motor to put a new clutch in and check "stuff" out and found nothing.
