Hey everyone,

So the past couple weeks I noticed that the red oil light has been lighting up after the engine has ran about 2 minutes, it stays on for about 6 seconds then goes off and doesn't come on again. This usually only happens the first time I start it for the day. It has happened about 8-10 times now and it always comes on at the same time after starting the engine (approx. 2 min) and lights up for 6 second then goes out. Other than this everything is fine, oil level normal, doesn't seem to be overheating at all, etc.

Is there a problem with my engine or what?

I thought red light was your gen light, green light was oil

Depends on the year. It could be your oil. Where is the light located from left to right? 1, 2, 3, or 4?

It's the oil light because it is red and has the word oil on it. I think it is the fourth one over, the last one. It's a 69. I'm just not sure why it would be coming on at the exact same time every time I start it up and staying on for the exact same time. Weird.
