OK its in really bad shape.
Where is the vin number?pan,door,hood,dash?
where all semaphore cars?
how rare are they?
its been partially crushed left to right and top to bottom.no pan.not a ragtop.sadly very little rust.after seeing some peoples resto work with rust.I thought maybe a porta power might beable to save it.or at least part it out.please advice on what to do.its really messed up.widow frames are bent over and deck lid is folded at the top in a inward curve instead of outward.to kinda give you an idea how crushed.maybe its too far gone.but after seeing the 59 deluxe journey in readers rides its hard to write off any car i see now. :shock:

Get some pics. The body will have the tag in the trunk compartment where later beetles have it. The body number will be stamped on the body below the tag. These are 2 seperate numbers that will not match. Yes, all splits will be semaphore cars unless they have been filled in. Is it an oval dash or double glove box dash split.

As much as it pains me to say it, there is absolutely no point to bringing that one back from the dead. The cost /benefit ratio is way out of whack.
Real early split cabrio, maybe, but ovals are still relatively plentiful.

Yeah its too far gone.I only seen it once a month ago.Since then I guess I glamorized its condition in my mind.Definetly good drugs I am on! :shock: Its for parts now.front aprons salvagable,some dash parts,door handles,door glass semaphores and sections,ectectra.plus by hauling it off he agreed to let me have the bus in 2 weeks if he cant reach the other guy.theother v-dubber cut off part of the left side a month or more ago.since then hasn't returned or called the guy back.he wants it off his property so I just have to be patient. :?
