| I have a brand new 2110 with moffoco heads the 050's. I am having problems with (it has a single 40 idf weber plan on going to duals soon)it also running a 1 3/4 header with stinger engle 041 cam, deep sump and full flow with filter plans in future for big oil cooler. i am still running stock fuel line wich i think is my problem the car runs fine for about a good 30 minutes drive on a hot summer day and then it vapor locks i think i now it runs out of fuel you can pull the fuel line off the pump and nothing is there this happens on the interstate our in town i have so far insulated the steel line coming around the motor no luck there. im not sure if i have the right fuel pump rod or not the car cranks great and runs fine it has a new stock style pump tank is clean on the inside clean it twice to make sure new fuel lines front to back and filter also tried running with no gas cap no luck there.this car is a 76 super convertible please help if you can leave email if can and il contact im not to sure but if a low volume electric pump will help ill install one thnks |

| not sure if it will help but.... on mine i run a small facet electric pump, then at the rear of the car where the hard line comes out of the frame, i ran the line up inside the package area and then straight throught the firewall to the carbs. granted, prolly not the safest way to do it, but i don't get vapor lock anymore. also check your fuel pump rod first, if its wrong your car should run like pure butt all the time, not just when it heats up |
