| I've got a '69 bug with a leaky sunroof. Can't see any type of gasket in it, should there be? Also, our neighbor hit the bug last week, and we're going to have it fixed and repainted. My son wants a metallic paint. We're undecided -- what do others think? |

For the leaky sunroof check the drains. There are drains at each corner to let water out. If a drain hose is clogged and the water cannot get to another drain it will come in the car. There should be a seal around the edge of the sunroof. It will not seal tight, but will keep most of the water out. The drains will take care of the rest.
As for the color - remember you will need to paint everything inside as well to change the color and have it look good. |
