Didin't want to steal the 'Flatten Clear' post, but my question is similar. I will be using JD Blitz Black, but we want to do two-tone. How can I get the color to match the sheen of the JDBB? Is this more trouble than I think it is? The other option was to do graphics or flames in gloss black with colored outline on top of the JDBB. Would that be easier?

I'll be asking many more questions as we (me & my 8 yr old son) progress along the way, so in advance, thanks!

Use a flattener in the color. Mix up several small barches at different ratios of flattener and shoot a test panel. Pick the one that comes closest, maybe adjust a little more if you wish.
