Hey guys i've got a straight rust free 67 that needs paint!
Anyone know somewhere in or near dallas that can do a "show quality" job, and is timely and affordable??
i have met with "doug's auto craft" and he seems (and talks) like he does good work with the media blaster and all... but he was talking about like $5500-6000 for show inside and out.... i am a general manager at a carwash and need to have a show car for going to the 3 or 4 shows a week that i attend! (what a job :) ) thanks |

| Funny that you should ask. I have been to a shop called J&J Volkswagen (or something close to that) in Trenton, TX, on Hwy 121, northeast of McKinney and seen their work. It is very impressive paint and body work that they do over there. I saw a bug that they had restored and a Thing (my true love) getting a frame off redo. I also observed that they do beautiful welding with attention to structural beefyness, which turns me on to see. From what I saw, I would try them, if I could afford the price and didn't have the time to do it myself. |
