| i have a 1976 super beetle coupe. it is fuel injected and is a dark green color. i picked it up in excellent running condition for 1800. i have been looking for other fuel injection owners, but i have trouble finding them. does this mean FI is a rare thing in VW? |

nope, all supers 75+ were FI, including verts until 79/80. I'm a FI fan, over 225,000 on the original system and I've only had to replace one injector. In 21 years of driving, it's never failed me.
