Heads up.
Guy named Todd A. is selling a Westy for $3K in Columbus off a Full Moon Bus Club - Ohio Valley Tribe web site. So I email the guy to get some more info and see if he has pics. He sends 2 pics and says for me to call him before he would send any other pics and to discuss. I call him and ask some questions that he doesn't seem very sure about. I told him I'm looking for a decent/clean Westy and that I already have a project. Told him nicely I'd talk to "the boss" about it and let him know one way or the other.
This morning, I get an email from this guy:
" I think its misleading that you say your interested in buying a VW and that you want one that is clean and then you tell someone on the telephone something completely different..
so do me a favour....
Next time you decide to buy a VW, ask your wife first...
Todd A"
This probably belongs in the rants, but I'd use caution before buying anything from him... |

| Since we are posting in the wrong place antway- there is a kid for N Carolina with listings for carbs- BE AWARE- I've caught him taking photos from carbs on E-bay and passing the exact carbs on E-bay as his -- very shady!! |

I bought a heater off of a kid from NC (Winston-Salem) Chris was his name. He was full of shit about the heater and drives a bay. |
