blending the single stage paint shoud be very easy. Im gonna seal with epoxy primer then spray.

here are a few shots after I primed with some evercoat slicksand..I just have to sand with 600 and spray my single stage paint.

I blended at the front windsheild.

Damn Leo, you really do some nice work! :D It's still taking me way longer than I wanted to finish my bug, mostly because I'm picky and painting it myself!

do you have pics of the actual graphing process? i have a rag-clip i want to install but have heard many differnt ways to do it. the easiest way, that i have heard is to use the rag clip to make an outline on the roof then cut the roof to match and bolt up all the ragtop stuff, does this sound right? or do you actually have to graph the rag-section into the car? thanks

I think you just convinced me to get a Sata gun.

There is welding involved, it's definitely not a bolt in.

i realize that there is welding involved, i am just trying to figure out how much and where to cut.

that sata gun is absolutely awesome. worth the $400 bucks. a quality job is done with quality tools.

oh and patience...

now onto the motor rebuild.

as for the ragtop grafting process, I would butt it up to the inside of the roof and mark the sides. if you look at my first pics I still kept the brackets and center bracket connected to the section. you NEED these. they line the section up perfectly centered. If you dont have it then try this link:
