Hi,
'65 bus with an 1835 engine. I would like to know my (specific) options for real-time oil temperature. Ideally, it would be: a) accurate, b) easy to install, c) digital display (no argument about where the needle was), d) inexpensive.
ready, set, go!
thanks!! |

Better off with a head temp gauge. I installed an oil temp and am now longing for a head temp instead. Digital... idk about those, I would stick with the vdo guages. |

Hi Volks,
Get oil pressure gauge first and oil temp and head temp gauges next. We prefer the old needle type gauges because they can be glanced for position and not have to take time to read the digital read out. Plus when the guage changes suddenly the needle is easily watchable and digital turns into a blur.
