Can someone please either explain to me, or point me to a past topic on how to lower a Ghia?

thanks much

I'm sure the Beetle forum has the info. you're looking for. Be aware that there may be front tire clearance issues depending on your lowering method of choice. I hope this helps.

:D hi mate i live in the uk and have lowered the front of my 68 vert using cb performance dropped spindles on the front giving about a two inch drop and we use mercedes smart car tyres 175 55 15 they are for the rear of said vehicle but put on the front and clearance is ok. just remove rear spring plates rotate after marking one outer spline that gives an equal drop to the front. :D

Use the CB spindles in the front and adj coilovers in the rear.

All the research I've done, CB's dropped spindles do seem the way to do it properly. My 70 is getting some one day.
