You certainly can be part of the fun. Aside from the surface rust, your car looks pretty solid. What's the condition inside? Is she running?
Oh yea, Welcome :D |

| I would try ebay and amazon for the books. They turn up once in a while. I went on a shopping spree and bought about 5 books in two weeks, so they're out there. Anything particular you are looking for? I can check through my books and post pictures if I got them. |

Welcome Lilroach,
I think your car is about typical of what most of us have, more or less. This and our other forum are great places to get advice, but more importantly, to get motivation to keep working on your project even when things aren't going all that great.
Without the guys I've met on the forum, my two 412s would still be sitting collecting rust and critters. |

Maybe the horsehair seats attract them :?
I think gophers lived in my spare 412 before I got it. Luckily they never got past the engine compartment, but you want to talk about nasty. Turds as big as the end of your pinky finger, and lots of them. Wires chewed to hell and back. They ate most of the fresh air intakes. The worst part was that I had to remove their straw nest by hand. |

Naaasty!
I had a few rodents living in mine for a while. they came in through a small hole under the battery. Made a great mess, and tore up my back seat. My other most common intruder is spiders. Big ones too. The kind that crunch and get stuck in your shoe when you step on them. |
