ok, im looking at rs5000x shocks. they starts at $35 and go up to 50. what are the specs i need for the rear of a stock irs? thanks

put kyb gas-a-just shocks on all four corners

yeah, stay away from the ranchos....after a little while it'l be like running with no shocks.

what do you guys think of the yellow and blue bilstiens in jc whitney? nevermind too much cash. ill go with kybs. can anyone tell me the sizing of them? like full extention and compression lengths. also, how about gabriels? i will probably go up to the parts store tomorrow, and i know they have gabriels ive just never heard much about them. im not sure if they sell kybs

not for the offroad ones because bugs werent designed to go offroad from the factory...i called ythem

Yeah, for some unknown reason KYB is not very forthcoming with tech. info on their products. I was a dealer for them when I had my parts store and the only info I could get from them was a std./stk. application sheet and the various models (GR2, Gas Adj., etc) they made that would fit that application. Quite an amazing diff from the other's I carried (Bilstien & Tokico) who'd tell you every spec you could possibly want to know about each and every part #.

FYI~ JCW is not the cheapest place to get alot of stuff. For instance I noticed they want $100.00 for a 5100 series Bilstein shock. You can find other parts retailers that sell that exact same shock for $65 all day long.

look up any decent shock catalog. the long kyb shocks have similar measurements to any 8" (or 10", not too sure which) shock - about 22" fully extended eye to eye.
