I have been building this for 6 months off and on, the parts pile is getting smaller, and it's starting to look like a Beetle again.

Still have a bit of work on the inside.

Sorry, I have rehosted the photo's to this sight, that works better.

The interior will be as close to standard as I can get, It is on a late IRS pan, so later 60's seats will be used and covered to look like the originals.

I bought the car as an unfinished project, all painted and waiting to be reassembled, all the bits were in boxes, been fun bolting it back together.

Good project, once you get some floor mats and door panels in it will really come together. What are you planning for the car style-wise? Stock, or...?

I am selling the car when finished, it will look stock, but with later running gear, disc brakes front, type 3 drums rear, ball joint front with IRS rear and chrome 356 style wheels with hub caps, and sitting a bit lower,

The engine is up to the buyer, I have a couple to choose from, 1904cc stroker weber engine or a stock 1600 twin port with Kadrons.

Should make a nice weekend cruiser for someone.

Nice. My first bug was a 54 hardtop. I miss it to death. That one reminds me of it. It looks like a good solid car too.
