I am going to raise the rear and use adjusters for the front on my thing, anyone know if these tires will fit ? http://coker.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=18360&cat=378&page=1
They are 29.5" tall.
Thanks in advance. |

| Thanks, that white 74 has the look I am after. I would hate to spend $400.00 on tires and then not have them fit. I am planning or indexing the rear with adjusters on the front, the body is off right now getting a resto and I could add a body lift but I really don't want to. |

nobrakes, Don't put those 6 ply truck tires on your vehicle. It will make it ride ROUGH like a truck and will make so much noise on the highway that you can't hear your radio. Do like the others have shown you and get the wider radial tires for a comfortable, quieter (still slightly noisy) ride.

I agree a different tire choice would be smoother and quieter but it will hardly ever see pavement. I am building a psudo Kublewagen for romping around in the woods and I need a tall thin tire with a heavy tread, and it won't have a radio :D
I have plenty of smooth riding quiet cars to drive I want something that's a bit harsh that I am not afriad to scratch.
There is a company in England that has reproduction Kuble tires but the shipping would kill me, has anyone seen the 7.00 x 15 traction tires sold by SoCal Imports ? |

Nobrakes, I am looking at those same tires. I am going for the Kommanderwagen look:
They to would be just for show, and run radials for daily driving. Hope this helps,Later Mitch. |

Sorry. Rookie move.
My question before this was for VW Class 11
I ran a set of 7.00x15 on a stock Thing and the only time they rubbed was on turns! |
