Anyone know where I can get these parts from and what they're called?

http://www.oldbeetle.de/intl/pcat/T1_28.html

I need part 3 and part 8 (preferably with the insulation, part 12 still attached). The part 3's that I have are really beat up have a lot of cracks, the part 8's that I have are missing the flaps and such inside that the cable connects to. I know I can probably get them at my local wrecking yard, but it's going to be raining for the next few days and I really don't feel like laying on my back in the mud to get part 3. By the way these are for a 72 Std. Beetle and if you have a pair for sell drop me a PM or email me @ [email protected] and I'll pay via PayPal or something.
Thanks In Advance
Paul

No problem! I'll be posting more bits soon. (Mostly glass)

looks like those are rear heating tubes, if memory serves me well. The flex tubes connect to your heater boxes and carry warm air inside. The other duct routes the warm air under the rear seat and on up to your defrost.

I wish '78 bus parts were as cheap as beetle.

No need to freeze!

WTF!!!! My bug is back from the paint shop and I am in the process of reassembly. What the heck am I doing wrong I don't see any way possible to install Part 3 in the attached link without seperating the body from the pan again. The housing for the rear torsion bar doesn't allow for enough room between the body and the torsion housing to be able to slide the part into place. I have tried to slide this thing in everyway possible and there's just no room. Anyone?

When I got my Super one side was broken in half. I picked up one from a local wrecing yard where the body was removed from the pan and had the same issue with installing it. I ended up cutting the upper and lower part of the flange off to get it to fit in, then used some silicon from inside to seal it up. Haven't had any problems since.

to install them you do need to have the body jacked up off the pan....unless you can hacke em up...LOL..but then you are back where you started...
