When I got this car it needed tons of work but not bad overall. I just put the body back down on the pan after replacing the front nose clip, adding a 4" narrowed/adjustable beam and putting the bullets fenders back on for a trial fitting. As you can see from the "before" pic, it sat like a 4X4 despite the fact that it had dropped spindles. It will probably be about 1" lower than it is in the "after" pic due to the fact that the body is hung up on the shock towers. I'll need to modify the body to get it to mate up properly.

| I have some BRMs (4.5" for the front and 5.5" for the rear) that I bought a while ago. I know they're "played out" but I like them. As far as the shock towers go, I am going to try to bend the body a little to clear it. If that does not work, I will have to trim a little metal off so the the tower can clear it. It's looking pretty cool looking now compared to the way it was before. The front of the car (the body, not the beam) is about 4" off the ground right now. I am really happy with the stance so far. |
