I have been given the ok to buy a driver but I dont know if i want a ghia or a Oval window? looking for sugestions from you guys. So you know I am 6'4" and 250lbs. so i am a big guy. just looking for sugestions. so you know it will be next spring that i am looking to buy, and will have about $2000 to invest.

| $2000 to invest for a daily, not much to spend for a decent daily oval or ghia. You'd have alot easier to find a daily-worthy $2k ghia then a daily-worthy $2k oval (but still have a hard time finding one IMO) ... |

good point nick.
you'll have an even easier time finding a mid 60's beetle as a driver for 2g's. figure spending $1300-$1800 on the car and another $200-$400 getting and keeping it roadworthy. it all depends on the car and how handy you are. dont be afraid to look out of state aswell. a little time travelled may net you a better deal. |
