I haven't been there myself yet, but I know it can be a tough place on any car on certain trails. So I was wondering if anyone here had been there to give me some pointers before I go out there one day. Like what trails I should take? What to expect on those trails? etc.

I've only done some light offroad stuff, and good ole muddy construction sites so far. That was when I first put my BFg's on. In one hole at the constr. site. I went in a puddle up to the bottom of the pan, (stock suspension, cept raised beem maybe 2" and the BFG hieght), and there was a burm to climb out of it, that I wasn't aware of. Well I bout got stuck cuz the pan hit it pretty dang hard, and I was goin slow, very. Well I gave it a good bit of gas after I stopped and thought about my situation, and the ole BFg's pushed me right out once they found grip. Slightly bent the rear section of the pan up, which I got in the car and stomped back down. Thought it was hillarious afterward :p.

If you've been other place around central NC let me know about it too.

Take a comealong and some chain, and you can go anywhere.

Go to www.dune-buggy.com/buggytalk and see if ther is anyone from NC. I'm not positive, but I think Todd (dune-buggy.com's creator) is from NC. If he's not, I'm sure you will find someone that is. Plus, you can learn quite a bit about buggies and bajas there.
