Hi !
Is it anybody that have a 1955 and/or 1956 beetle that is not mounted on the pan.....I would like to see a picture from the front part on the heaterchannel bottom......about were the curv start !

It would be really great if someone can help me with that !

i have a 57 off the pan. i will take some pics of mine if it will help.

try www.btinternet.com/~aircooled_vw/open.html if you have trouble or the link is underlined by samba be aware that between aircooled and vw there is a "shift-" that maybe hidden and wont show as _ .... good site.

i took a pic of the heater channel on my 57 from the front, shot from the underside. hope this helps.

Bill May......Yes it is my car and my old site....but that car is very rusty at the heater channel bottom, so I can not look at that :(

Bro 2539...thanks for the picture....but it would be great if I could see the curv.....like the picture below of the parts I made .

The reason why I want to see this part is that I know there is a little change in the profile....and I think the change is after 1955....but I´m not sure. I have a 58 in the shop and that have the change in the profile, compare to a 52 bottom

Matthew...the price for the front part is $27 + shippingcost.

I dont have the rest yet.....the parts that I have at the moment is
Left front, Right and Left middle and right rear...se pictures

I have been looking for the right front and left rear for a long time now, and I have found a pair the last week, so I´m working with the new pressingtool right now, should be ready in a few weeks.

here is the small change in the profile ! I have recived pictures from a 56, and it did not have this change....so I would like to se some pictures of 57 & 58 heater channel to......thanks for helping me out !

Splitdog.....I got the parts I needed and I working with the pressingtool right now so they will be ready in aboute 3 weeks I think
