Ok, I have a chopped type 1 body that will become my dune runner. I have plans for the frame rear suspension, drivetrain, blah, blah blah. What I need now are front end ideas. I will be going coilovers in the rear and would like to do the same up front. Who's got ideas (or PICS!) of possible front end configuration. Fab work is no big deal. Whatchoo Got??

the pics there are lacking to say the least. I looking at 4x4 or 4x5 for rear arms. What is the widest/longest front arms available for the LP/KP front end? brad...anyone?

They make 1in by 4in front arms. They are for sale i think at Moore parts in hot vw's.

Thanks brad..thats my new favorite site. I may end up making my own wider beam, but I like those arms. Now the million dollar question, with those and the drop spindle, what's max heigth (approximate) and tire clearance?

i dont know if anyone here runs those arms. i know baja5 has the 2.25" ones with his coilovers and i have then with leaves. without going to max adjustment, i had 18" of clearance under the beam with stock spindles and ~30" front tires.
