Ok so i go out to look at my 57 beetle tonight to get the vin number for my dad so he could register it or some shit. anyways so i start lookin closer at the number that i thought said 1658-somethin. which would make it a 57 chassis, but the 6 started to look like a 3. and as i brushed off some of the rust, i saw it positively a 3 so that means my car isnt on a 57 at all...its on a 56. and the body number is 377-002 which also makes it a 56. i just think thats pretty cool since it was sold to me as a 57. what a surprise...lol
