Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there has a split case transmission that has a camber compensator on it?
I have an original EMPI one for the later tunnel transmission but the bracket is incorrect for the split case I have in my stock "57 Bug.[/quote]
If you have an original bracket that will fit a split case. please let me know. |

I don't ever remember seeing one for a split case. I have one on my bus and it works. I guess the trick would be having it mount to
the center bolts in the case, or the torsion housing forks? |

| I have never seen one either but I do know that EMPI sold these in the late '50's. SOMEONE has to have one. |

| I've seen them at shows for sale. Not the bracket, the complete part. |

What is this camber compensator yall are talking about?
Does it somehow correct the camber when the car is lowered? Or is it just a bar to keep the travel from getting to the point where the camber is out? |

I reduces wheel tuck when the suspension rises. |
