Hi,
does anyone know when overriders bumpers started on us bound beetles? Would it be correct or incorrect for a early 55 car. |

| A January 55 should not have them unless they were put on as an option called "Ram Protection" . Most likely (99 out of 100), you should have the blade bumpers. |

| i was wondering the same thing when they started cause i have a march 55 beetle....but on the birth certificate it says they were and option and my beetle has them |

I know 55 cars are different but, that is extreme.I'm glad mine is really early eggs euro ribbed doors ect.Its closer to a 54 than most peoples 55s.
