| I've really be wondering if any one has been able to put a 1.8t out of a newer VW into there aircooled? Could this be done and it still look stock? |

| Well, I remember seeing a Beetle with a Chevy 350, and they had done a pretty good job of hiding the radiator, so I imagine so, with a lot of creative fabrication... |

| well you can really put anything in a beetle with enough work, be it a buick v8 in back or a chevy v8 in the front, or 4x4 wheel drive. The possibilitys are endless if you're willing to get creative and possible make some concessions. |

but if you're looking to stick it were the flat four goes now then i doubt it as the 1.8T will be too tall to go under the hood.
try a subaru engine as they do fit. with some work of course. |
