I was curious if I could put some nice 5 spoke rims off a GTI on my car? The bolt pattern of the rims is a 5 lug and my 73 is 4. Whats intailed in fitting these to my beetle?

The pattern on your GTi is 5x100 and very popluar with the import cars. You can either get your current drums drilled or get new drums that are already drilled for 5x100 wheels.
There's probibly wheel adapters, but those are not a good idea.
You might have some clearance issues with the wheel offset, so be warned. |
