I hit one today that I knew about but forgot it was there. At the local mall there is a gigantic pot hole oh say 10 inches wide and 6 inches deep (may be much bigger just an estimate) Hope it didnt do any damage. Car drives straight when i let go of the wheel so i guess alignments good but i think it knocked the driver side bearing loose cause i can hear it when i push/pull the tire. Should I worry much? Whats the most that could happen? Whats the worst pot hole experience u have. Needless to say I called the mall and complained and will continue o do so each day until they fix the problem. Usually I wouldnt worry but this was one big pothole

Technically, it wasn't a pothole, but manhole cover. The city dug up the the streets, but left the manhole covers sticking about 5 inches above the surface with no "ramp" if sorts to ease the transission. Just around, right? Wrong. There were so many of them that there was no way to dodge around. I hit one and hit popped my tire, which in tirned caused me to hit another one which messed up a different rim and put a huge bulge in the sidewall of that tire.

Eeesh. Sounds like when they paved a major Hostpital road (2 Hostpitals... same road.) They put street cones up around the pot holes but in order to miss them you had to go 2 feet in the other lane with oncoming traffic and often times you couldnt see the cones until the person in front of you swirved to miss them. They had dug a ring around the manholes. About 5 inches from the ends of the lid and who knows how deep. Oh I almost hit a cat that ran in front of me. Got so close to the front i couldnt see it. Luckily stopped in time. Dont want my car to look like one at farmington. It had a big dent and chipped paint everywhere and blood splatterd all around the front. Not a nice site

In Brooklyn NY, I hit an open manhole on my Harley. Fortunately I was going fast enough I was able to ride through it, but not without bending my front rim and ruining a new pair of jeans

Not a pothole, but I hit a !@#$% racoon when I lived in Florida. He was a big bastard and did $760 in damage to the lowered front end of my '71 super. Man I was pissed. Luckily Allstate pulled through for me and it ended up costing me nothing. The whole lower front clip needed replacing though :(

thats one of my main reasons for not lowering my SB... anything u hit does damage. Hell ive seen some lowered so much a squirel could cost $760 in damage. Though I do like the look
