| I'm intersted in Knowing if the parts of a '71 super beetle are compatible with a '74 beetle? I have both and want to take all that is salvageable off the '71 and put them on the '74. Anyone have any thoughts??? |

| Most parts, sure. Even some parts from a 74 Super are compatible with a 67 Beetle. Not many, but some. 71-74 SB had many different parts, one obvisouly including the dash. but depending on what you want for parts, their pans are the same, front ends, glass, etc. Seat and everything are not the same, but will fit, with slight modifications. Most small parts will also fit. like I said, depending on the parts. |

| A lot of the mechanical stuff will cross over as mentioned. The other big difference is the hood & front body stuff...still worthwhile to save as a parts car, though... |

| I have found out the hard way that most of the steering parts from 73 and older will not fit a 74 Superbeetle. |
